As a studied biologist, nature and biodiversity are very important topics for me. Far from fashion photography, it is a matter of my heart for me to bring the importance of our ecosystems and the meaning of keeping them intact by showing aesthetic images from our nature. Supposedly annoying mosquitoes are – in the right light – very beautiful graceful animals with a task in the ecosystem, just like it is the case with a majestic dolphin that everyone admires. For many people, algae lying on the beach are nothing worth noticing and yet they are so important for our climate and for marine ecosystems. I try to photograph all these animals and plants aesthetically as often as I can to make their meaning more visible.
